West Brom manager latest: Baggies hold talks with former West Ham boss Slaven Bilic

West Brom have spoken to former West Ham boss Slaven Bilic about the possibility of becoming the club’s new manager.

The Baggies sacked Darren Moore in March, despite being fourth in the Championship at the time, and they are yet to find a replacement.

Bilic has now become the overwhelming favourite for the job after a successful interview with club officials on Tuesday.

The 50-year-old Croatian was a popular figure during his spell with the Hammers, which ended after two years in 2017 following a poor run of results.

His most recent venture, with Saudi club Al-Lttihad, lasted just five months after he was dismissed in February earlier this year.

It is understood West Brom are also interested in Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder.
