Simon Jordan has warned Eden Hazard against leaving Chelsea for Real Madrid in the summer.
The Stamford Bridge favourite has flirted with the possibility of joining the Spanish giants and his Chelsea form is only fuelling speculation.
Hazard scored twice in Monday night’s 2-0 win, including a wonderful solo goal, to underline his incredible talent and his importance to Maurizio Sarri’s side.
But with a move to the Spanish capital seemingly on the cards, former Crystal Palace chairman Jordan has warned the Belgium captain against falling for the ‘lure’ of Los Blancos.
“Chelsea haven’t got to sell Eden Hazard, that’s not a given,” he told Jim White on talkSPORT.
“If I’m [Maurizio] Sarri, I’d tell the board, ‘Sorry I need this player’.
“There is an image and sometimes the perception is greater than the reality. Madrid are a side financially and literally in slight decline.

“So what is the lure? It’s an image and image is not always substance.
“They’ve been dumped out of the Champions League royally on their backsides by Ajax.
“We will see what happens with Madrid and their ability to fund transfers, because my understanding is that they aren’t quite able to come to the table in they same way they used to.”
