Tens of thousands of fans are set to flock to the streets of Liverpool following the club’s historic Champions League triumph.
Jurgen Klopp’s men were crowned champions of Europe for the sixth time after beating Tottenham 2-0 in Madrid.
The team will now parade the trophy on an open-top bus through Merseyside on Sunday, which will finish with a celebration on the waterfront.
The parade will start at 16:00 BST at Allerton Maze.
From the route will continue north along Queens Drive, Mill Bank, West Derby Road, Islington, Leeds Street and The Strand.
The final stop is at Blundell Street, the Waterfront, where The Mersey River Festival and Bordeaux Wine Festival events are taking place.
Liverpool triumphed in the all-English final thanks to a Mohamed Salah penalty and a late Divock Origi strike.
A spokesman for Merseyside Police stated they expect ‘tens of thousands of people’ to attend the celebration.
Liverpool city council have advised fans to line the streets in all parts of the route, as there is no focal point to the celebrations.
Road closures are also set to be put in place and motorists have been advised to consider their route carefully.
Supt Mark Wiggins said: “Officers will be on hand on Sunday afternoon to provide a reassuring presence and making sure the day is not only one to remember, but also an enjoyable and safe event for all those attending the parade.”
